Market Snapshot: Active Listings on the Plateau

As we close out February and move into March, one of the most common questions this time of year is how the current market compares to previous years. Looking at our MLS data, the number of active listings across the Plateau remains well below the levels we saw prior to the pandemic.

In February 2026, there were 905 active listings in the MLS. For comparison, there were 1,634 listings in February 2021 and 1,334 in February 2022. The market during 2020 and 2021 experienced extraordinary demand as buyers across the country sought homes in mountain communities, quickly absorbing available inventory. While the market has since returned to more typical patterns, inventory across the Plateau remains relatively limited. Well-positioned homes continue to attract strong interest from buyers looking to secure property in the mountains.

Buyer demand remains strong as we move into the spring market, while the number of available homes across the Plateau remains relatively limited. If you have been considering selling, this can be an excellent time to begin the conversation and prepare your property for the season ahead. Our agents are always happy to provide a confidential market update and share insight into current buyer activity in your neighborhood.

As the Plateau begins to welcome spring, the community calendar is also coming to life with performances, art programs, and local gatherings. Here are a few upcoming events to mark on your calendar.
